The restaurant "Locanda dell'Orla" is situated in "Casa Magnina". Originally a manor house, which dates back to the early 700's and even as early as '800 "Casa Magnina" was used as a resting and eating for travellers and is now is a listed buliding renovated into a restaurant and mountain accomodation.

As told by their great-grandparents according to the present owners,it seems that people as famous as Marie Curie have resided in the Manor House.

During Marie Curie's stay in Lurisia, the French Scentist took sample of water from inside the caves situated in Lurisia, and found that the water contains certain levels of radium due to the rocks which are famous for their therapeutic propeties such as antinflammatory and diuretic.
